CLEVELAND, OHIO, Sept. 27, 2018 – Blockland, a community-wide movement to establish a blockchain ecosystem in Cleveland, Ohio, and put the region at the forefront of blockchain thought leadership, today announced the addition of Mark Hurd, CEO of Oracle Corporation, to its keynote speaker lineup for the inaugural Blockland Solutions Conference, which is scheduled to take place at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland from Dec. 1-4, 2018. Mark Hurd joined Oracle in 2010 and brings decades of technology industry leadership, computer hardware expertise, and executive management experience to his role. Hurd has been recognized as one of the technology industry’s top executives by publications such as Barron’s, Fortune and the San Francisco Chronicle, and he frequently provides expert commentary regarding IT and business on broadcast TV. At the Blockland Solutions Conference, Hurd will discuss how blockchain technology and Oracle Blockchain Cloud Service can fundamentally transform how every industry does business. Oracle’s blockchain platform leverages the company’s decades of experience across industries and its extensive partner ecosystem to reliably share and conduct trusted transactions with suppliers, banks, and other trade partners.
